Brands have been doing collaborations with designers and bloggers for forever. This is nothing new, but regardless every time one is announced – I lose my sh*t. This collection I am especially excited for because a) Target is a place I already shop, and b) This collection has pieces I’ll actually wear.
When the Balmain X H&M collab came out, I knew it was game-changing, but just not for me and my wardrobe. This Who What Wear lookbook is what dreams are made of though. Stripes, florals, pops of color, denim, army green – the works. Keep reading for some of my favorite looks/pieces, and get ready to shop on January 31st.
LOOK 1 – ALL BLACK AND A FANNY PACK
Minimal in color, loose in fit – this outfit was made for me. I’ve honestly been looking for a shirt dress my entire life, and they’re all either way too fitted, or way to expensive. If I don’t buy anything else from the collaboration, I want this shirt dress in black and chambray (that’s right – it comes in denim too!)
LOOK 2 – BARDOT SLEEVES, YES PLEASE!
This dress looks like it jumped straight out of a PacSun catalog. It’s so youthful and trendy – I’m so excited! The off-the-shoulder detail will make it look so chic with a sleeveless trench (also included in the collection of course).
LOOK 3 – BLACK AND WHITE AND RED ALL OVER
Nothing says “classic” like back, white, and red. I love that this look switches a classic stripe for a fun polka dot and a fanny pack! The top look featured this bag in black, but I think I’m feelin’ the red so much. It’s real leather too!
LOOK 4 – MAKE A HABIT OF MIXING FABRIC
Mixing prints haas been a trend for so long. It’s so fun and perfect for spring! The easiest way to do this is mixing a big floral with a small dot or stripe – and this look pulls it off!
LOOK 5 – FLAPPER GIRL IS A HAPPY GIRL
This look is so cute. Maybe not something I’d wear on a daily basis – but this top I’m obsessed with. The large crochet-esque lace, high neck, and peplum are all freakin’ amazing. This top with some flare jeans and wedges is the perfect look for spring. I love it.
