Wearing leather makes me so happy. It’s edgy as hell so I just feel like a badass all day. At the same time, I’m not usually a proponent of wearing all-leather looks because it makes me feel like I’m a post-apocalyptic hero from a youth novel (a.k.a. Divergent). So to bring this leather skirt back down to earth, and make it more appropriate for day-time wear, I mixed “vibes” by adding this adorable ballerina-printed blouse.

Then, of course, no outfit is complete in the fall-time without a cozy jacket. This duster cardigan is just warm enough for a fall Texas day, and the texture is so varied that it provides just the perfect contrast to the skirt. I threw on these Target booties I bought in a different color last year to keep my feet warm! I love these shoes because they’re heeled, but their chunky enough, and have a ruggedized sole, that make them perfect for exploring!

Lastly, I am obsessed with Starbucks’ 2015 Dot Collection cups, and I had such a heard time picking one, but this cup with the red lid and french girl blowing bubbles is too damn cute! The only downside is I have to hand-wash them so the paint won’t come off because I want to have this cup forever.

Shop This Outfit: Zara Blouse (you can’t see it in my pic, but it’s got a really cute mesh panel down the side) // H&M Leather Skirt (bought earlier this year when it was on sale so I linked to a similar one, but you can see it in another outfit here!) // Target Cardigan (found in-store, wearing a medium) // Target Booties (wearing a half-size down)
