Today’s look is all about basics. I firmly believe that you can have a wardrobe made completely of solids and neutrals, and still look chic as ever. This is, in my opinion, because a basic look is so effortless and classic that it really shows of the woman wearing the clothes, instead of the clothes themselves.

Today was all about these classic white jeans for me. I really let the color shine by pairing it with a very light-wash denim shirt so the whole outfit blended together. An all light outfit would have been too bland – so I added some pump and sophistication with all black accessories and silver jewelry.

Speaking of these white jeans (wink wink), I bought them last winter in anticipation of having them all summer. I wore them literally twice because Texas is so hot! Even though they’re white, they’re tight so they are just the worst thing ever if you’re sweaty. I finally got to break them out today because we’re experiencing ~75 degree mornings and it’s wonderful.

Shop This Outfit: Denim Shirt (gifted) // True Religion (a tiny bit see-through so invest in some nude panties!) // Christian Louboutin (I definitely suggest the Pigalle – so comfy) // Right Hand Bone Cuff (a classic in medium) // Tiffany Atlas Key Pendant (on a 36 inch chain)
