All Hail Accessories

When I was putting an outfit together this morning I knew staying cool was priotiry #1, but every outfit I tried on was just so bland! I really am a huge fan of layering, but that’s just not an option while it’s still 100 degrees outside *I’m lookin at you Texas*.

For this look I realized I could amp it up with accessories! I actually look fully dressed even though all I’m wearing is a grey t-shirt dress!

The first accessories I decided on was the matching patent leather Kate Spade Bag and Tory Burch sandals. It was gunna be a Sunday full of running errands and trips ot th emall so I figured a crossbody bag and flat shoes would be my friend *thumbs up Devon*.

Still though, this outfit with just grey and black was *clap* not *clap* enough *clap*. Which is when I broke out my best birthday present – this Tiffany’s Bone Cuff. The shiny sterling silver is so bold it really made my dress’s color stand out.

Last but not least, red lipstick and a floppy felt hat. Lipstick is usually the easiest accessory, but the hat I reached for because honestly my hair was lookin kinda crazy in the back *laughing*! I’m glad I did though because I was totally feelin’ my Carmen San Diego vibes.

In the spirit of celebrating the importance of accessories, I’ve linked to more similar hats, patent leather, and silver cuffs!

Cuffs: Tiffany’s Medium Bone Cuff (for right hand in silver) // Betony Vernon Jewelry ‘Chic’ Cuff (reminds me of shackles lol) // Ija Double Bar Cuff (minimalist approach)

Hats: Hinge Wool Felt Panama Hat (affordable and availible in 3 colors) // Halogen ‘Luxe’ Felt Panama Hat (less floppy – me more likey) // Zimmerman Gold Bar Hat (most expensive but too pretty)
