Nordstrom. It’s a name we hear often, and a name we associate with designers as well as great trendy pieces! I bought my first pair of Louboutins at the Northpark Mall Nordstrom, and all my favorite Free People dresses from the Galleria Mall Nordstrom!
You’ve probably seen tons about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale already, because I have too! The more I looked online the less impressed I was with the sale 😦 Well that all changed when I went in store today! I think the online photos just don’t do a lot of these products justice because there are some truly amazing pieces that I am so excited to wear for fall! Below are my picks and outfits from the sale!
Leith Waterfall Cardigan & J brand Flares
Both this green cardigan (available in black and burgundy too) and these amazing jeans are so comfy! The cardi is perfect for fall because of the breezy open front and thinner fabric. I’m also obsessed with olive greens so this was an obvious ‘yes’ for me!
Another item that’s been on my wishlist for a while is a pair of flare jeans. They just elongate the legs so much and add a little more formal flair to denim! This J Brand pair felt great, though I had to go a size up (I’m usually a 26). The only downside is they were so long! I don’t say this often being 5’10”, but even on my tippy-toes these jeans were bunching at the floor. They got me so excited though that I added these Joe’s to my online cart!

Denim Pencil Skirt & Cold Shoulder Dress
Recently I’ve been moving in to a little ‘sexier’ of a style which is drawing me towards more crop tops and skin tight skirts. I like to keep it classy though, so I love the length of this denim pencil skirt! The modest slit in the back makes it easy to move in and the distressing is amazing.
This Topshop dress is something I typically wouldn’t go for because I prefer strapless to a cold shoulder, but the thick fabric in this one made it irresistible! I tried it on in a 2 and I couldn’t even zip it! I might order it online in a 6…

Leopard Moto Jacket
This jacket is something I never would have picked up if I wasn’t doing this post, and it’s also something I never would have ordered online (the storer pics don’t do it justice). But this jacket turned in to my favorite item item from the entire sale! It has an actual hair texture and is the perfect neutral for fall!

Suede Jacket and Free People Dress
This jacket is another reason I just love fall/winter. Being able to layer up interest pieces just make an outfit so much more interesting! This jacket is a small and I definitely needed a smaller size, but it looked so cute with my Free People Dress!

Chunky Knit Sweater
Despite the fact that I was burning up after changes clothes all the time, and wearing jeans, this sweater was amazing! It’s so cozy and soft, and in store they have so many colors!! I seriously want one of each. My favorite part is that you can technially wear them both ways (shown above)!

There are tons of other items online that I didn’t see in store – I listed them below! Have fun shopping the sale you guys, and remember: prices go back up August 3rd!
