Staying fashionable in the summer months can be a challenge. Just standing in my closet makes me sweat, making me very unmotivated to dress myself. Fortunately shorts and tank tops exist so I manage!
Today I was ready to hit Sephora and the Bookstore so I wanted an outfit that was casual and comfortable, but definitely summery and fun – so this Free People top was the obvious answer! It’s made out of a surprisingly thing fabric, allowing even the slightest breeze to blow straight through it. With simple sandals and white shorts I knew it’d be perfect!
The only other challenge in summer dressing is what to do with my hair! When it was longer I’d wear a top knot just about every single day, but now that it’s shorter I’m being forced to become more creative. Luckily, I watch plenty of barefoot Blonde’s Youtube videos so I’ve become quite the braid queen! Today I pulled back the front of my hair in two dutch braids and secured them with a rubber band in the back for a half-up half-down summery look.
I brought back this Build-A-Bear from New York and Charlee has not let go of it! I think it’s so sweet 🙂
Got caught laughing 🙂 I was probably cracking up about all the people who stare so much when we take pictures in public places!
